Guidelines for speakers
- Prepare your 10 minutes presentation (slides);
- Please test in advance your internet connection, camera and microphone;
- Please use the video and audio system during the presentation;
- Enter your session 5 minutes before start and present yourself to the moderator;
- The moderator will guide the session;
- A typical session has five presentations, each one 10 minutes long followed by a 5 minute Q&A;
- The moderator will introduce the speaker before each presentation;
- The speaker will share his/her slides and make the presentation. Use the “share screen” functionally of zoom for the presentation;
Guidelines for moderators
- Please use the video and audio system during the presentation;
- At the beginning of the session inform all participants that in case of zoom disconnection, they should reconnect using the same link;
- Host the session and briefly introduce the speaker before each presentation;
- Read the audience comments and questions in the chat;
- Choose or formulate questions to ask of the presenter after the talk;
- Facilitate discussion, if there is time leftover;
- Please make sure that the session starts and ends on time;
- In the case of a “no-show”, the next presentation should not start earlier. Please follow the time frame on the agenda.
