PAEE\/ALE\u20192021<\/b>, International Conference on Active Learning in Engineering Education, is organized on July 07-09, 2021<\/b>, in a hybrid format. The conference is organized into three main sections: onsite, hybrid, and online. The onsite event will take place at Braga, Portugal (venue still to be decided). Online participants will attend the conference via Zoom Meetings. The access to the sessions on each day will be sent one day in advance to your registered emails.\u00a0<\/p>

The theme of this year’s conference is \u201cThe Development of Competences for Engineers within a Global Context<\/b>\u201d, which is an excellent opportunity to discuss research and current practice under this challenging theme.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

PAEE and ALE have been organized in different parts of the world, to enhance Active Learning, Problem and Project-Based Learning in Engineering Education through active involvement of participants in hands-on sessions, workshops, debates, industry panels, poster and paper sessions, and student project awards. The conference is the merging of two international events: the International Symposium on Project Approaches in Engineering Education (PAEE) organized by the PAEE association since 2009, and Active Learning in Engineering Education Workshop (ALE) organized by Active Learning in Engineering Education Network since 2000. PAEE\/ALE\u20192021<\/b> will be the sixth collaboration of the two events.<\/p>
